Dr. Brian Abelson
Best-selling author, Dr. Brian Abelson, is the Clinical Director of Kinetic Health, an innovative health care facility that places a special focus on getting people back into an active, pain-free lifestyle.
Dr. Abelson believes in doing everything he can to achieve the best results possible for his patients. This includes:

Traveling to different regions of the world in search of new ways to achieve what most practitioners would consider an already extremely impressive track record.
Dr. Abelson also believes in practicing what he preaches. For the last 30 years he has been a marathon runner and triathlete. He has a firm belief in living a holistic life style, but he also believes that life is meant to be lived, and not wasted. If you get a chance to sit down and talk to him about your health, you will soon see that he really does care about his patients.

Dr. Evangelos Mylonas

Dr. Mylonas received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States (formerly Western States Chiropractic College) in 2001 and has had the privilege of treating patients in Canada as well as internationally. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels, whether it’s the amateur sport enthusiast or professional athlete, and treating musculoskeletal conditions ranging from acute injuries to enhancing sport performance.
Dr. Mylonas combines multiple soft-tissue and joint manipulative therapies with specific exercises to effectively treat and help resolve his patient’s conditions.
Outside of Kinetic Health, Dr. Mylonas enjoys travelling and spending time with his family, as well as, pursuing an active lifestyle.

Mrs. Patricia Milburn-Barile, RMT
Patricia Milburn-Barile is a licensed Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta and has been in practice for over seventeen years. Her practice mainly focuses in deep tissue therapy but also includes sports and repetitive strain injuries, headaches, neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, arthritis, fibromyalgia, TMJ syndrome, motor vehicle accident injuries, soft tissue dysfunction, muscle and joint pain.
Some of the techniques Patricia utilizes in her practice include: Trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, active and passive release techniques, facilitated stretching, muscle energy techniques, fascial release, deep tissue therapy, relaxation Swedish massage techniques and reflexology. Patricia has specialized training and has worked extensively with pre and post-natal massage.
Most people are unaware that Patricia is a certified NNEB Nursery Nurse from the UK, holds an advanced certificate in Canada as a early childhood educator, and is also certified as a pediatric massage therapist.
Patricia enjoys working with people of all ages and has trained in massage care for the aging population, with a strong knowledge of possible contraindications of certain medications that may affect a massage treatment. She also specializes in age related conditions like arthritis. Patricia has treated many children, ranging in age from young babies into teenage years within her busy practice.
Ms. Rebecca Light, RMT
Rebecca is a full member of the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association and has been since 2017 when she graduated with honours from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Rebecca is a dynamic and conversant individual devoted to the pursuit of excellence in health and mobility, personally and professionally. Fascinated by the biology of the human body Rebecca is an avid learner, continually refining her approach to assisting clients to find optimal tissue wellness.
In the treatment room, her technique includes Swedish relaxation as well as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, pin and stretch, muscle energy techniques and cupping to restore and maintain a full range of motion for pain-free enjoyment of the activities of life! She is also versed in working with her clients to build injury recovery programs specific to the injury and stage of healing for a full recovery.
Previous to becoming a massage therapist Rebecca graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of fine art with a major in Jewellery and metalsmithing and a minor in anatomy drawing. Even years before becoming a therapist Rebecca was building hand strength and cultivating a love of anatomy! A long time hobbyist dancer Rebecca also enjoys taking dance classes and performing with a local movement troupe.
Ms. Lindsay Carefoot, RMT
Lindsay Carefoot has spent most of her life in Calgary, but grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan before moving here in 2000. She attended Makami College of Massage Therapy in 2014. She became a Clinic Instructor at Makami College after first working as a tutor and practical assistant. She has experience with instructing orthopedic massage and focuses on balancing muscle tension to re-aligning the body.
Lindsay loves to understand new concepts, has taken several workshops in orthopedic massage, and has applied this knowledge to her massage practice. Her passion for learning has motivated her to study Kinesiology at York University where she is attending her last course online. She is excited to be graduating this summer, and she looks forward to new learning opportunities in therapeutic massage.
She loves to be active and can be found strengthening her forearms and tendons while bouldering and climbing. She enjoys running, hiking, and biking, and especially loves these activities while being out in nature. she is often outside enjoying the sun when it is warm out.
The more creative side of Lindsay is motivated to learn about photography and film production.
Ms. Yeni Soberanis, RMT
Born in Guatemala, Yeni came to Canada at the age of 16 and finished high school in Calgary. Previously completing an elementary teaching and massage therapy degree in Guatemala, she then came back to Calgary two years ago to enroll at Makami College of Massage where she completed the Advanced Clinical Massage therapy program.
Yeni is passionate about learning alternative/complementary therapies. She has enrolled in various workshops in Guatemala including aromatherapy, reiki, guasha, podal reflexology, cupping, floral Bach and many others.
Yani has been practicing massage therapy for over ten years (one year in Calgary) and loves what she does! She has practiced different massage styles including prenatal massage, energetic massage, Swedish massage, hot stone and others.
Yeni also loves travelling and has visited over 20 countries, living in both India and Argentina. She also has two children and the three of them enjoy dancing to Latin American music.
